1) First click start button then click run.
2) Now in the search box type regedit and click OK.
3. Now go to below location in registry key:
* HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\
Services\UsbStor.
4) Now see the right side and open start.
5) Now in the value data box type 4 (to block USB port) and then click ok.
6) Quit Registry Editor.
7) It would be good to restart your computer to take effect.
To unblock a blocked USB port:
1) First click start button and then click run.
2) Now in the search box type regedit then click ok.
3) Now go to below location in registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\
Services\UsbStor
4) Now see the right side and open start.
5) Now in the value dada box type 3 (to unblock USB port) then click ok.
6) Quit Registry Editor.
7) It would be good to restart your computer to take effect.
